The ACTA1 acta1 (Catalog #MBS9411323) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Actin antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Actin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Western blotting: 1:500-1:3000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:250. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ACTA1 acta1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ACTA1 acta1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4501881) (NCBI Accession #NP_001091). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Actin antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data (Sample(30 ug of whole cell lysate)A: Raji10% SDS PAGEPrimary antibody diluted at 1: 1000)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Skeletal Muscle, using alpha Actin (skeletal muscle) antibody(10 ug/ml).)
The product encoded by this gene belongs to the actin family of proteins, which are highly conserved proteins that play a role in cell motility, structure and integrity. Alpha, beta and gamma actin isoforms have been identified, with alpha actins being a major constituent of the contractile apparatus, while beta and gamma actins are involved in the regulation of cell motility. This actin is an alpha actin that is found in skeletal muscle. Mutations in this gene cause nemaline myopathy type 3, congenital myopathy with excess of thin myofilaments, congenital myopathy with cores, and congenital myopathy with fiber-type disproportion, diseases that lead to muscle fiber defects. Immunogen Type: Recombinant protein
Immunogen Description: Recombinant protein fragment contain a sequence corresponding to a region within amino acids 1 and 129 of Human ACTA1. Target Name: Actin. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ACTA1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ACTA1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Brain Diseases, Cardiovascular Diseases, Death, Disease Models, Animal, Fibrosis, Heart Diseases, Hypertrophy, Inflammation, MYOPATHY, CONGENITAL, WITH FIBER-TYPE DISPROPORTION, Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Actin antibody.
