The ACVR1 acvr1 (Catalog #MBS6000676) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ACVR1, NT (Activin Receptor Type 1, Activin Receptor Type I, ACTR-I, Serine/Threonine-protein Kinase Receptor R1, SKR1, Activin Receptor-like Kinase 2, ALK-2, TGF-B Superfamily Receptor Type I, TSR-I, ACVRLK2) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ACVR1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: Western Blot: 1ug/ml
Immunohistochemistry (FFPE): 5ug/ml. Validated for use on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with A0855-95J, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ACVR1 acvr1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The ACVR1 acvr1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #166235898) (NCBI Accession #NP_001104537.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q04771). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Activins are dimeric growth and differentiation factors which belong to the transforming growth factor-beta (TGF-beta) superfamily of structurally related signaling proteins. Activins signal through a heteromeric complex of receptor serine kinases which include at least two type I (I and IB) and two type II (II and IIB) receptors. These receptors are all transmembrane proteins, composed of a ligand-binding extracellular domain with cysteine-rich region, a transmembrane domain, and a cytoplasmic domain with predicted serine/threonine specificity. Type I receptors are essential for signaling; and type II receptors are required for binding ligands and for expression of type I receptors. Type I and II receptors form a stable complex after ligand binding, resulting in phosphorylation of type I receptors by type II receptors. ACVR1 is an activin A type I receptor which signals a particular transcriptional response in concert with activin type II receptors.

ACVR1 acvr1

Immunogen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to 15aa near the N-terminal of human ACVR1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ACVR1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ACVR1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
