|The ADCY4 adcy4 (Catalog #MBS6009937) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ADCY4, ID (ADCY4, Adenylate cyclase type 4, ATP pyrophosphate-lyase 4, Adenylate cyclase type IV, Adenylyl cyclase 4) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ADCY4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).
Suitable for use in Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500
Flow Cytometry: 1:10-50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ADCY4 adcy4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ADCY4 adcy4 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #34785029) (NCBI Accession #AAH15982.2) (Uniprot Accession #Q8NFM4). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

This gene encodes a member of the family of adenylate cyclases, which are membrane-associated enzymes that catalyze the formation of the secondary messenger cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP). Mouse studies show that adenylate cyclase 4, along with adenylate cyclases 2 and 3, is expressed in olfactory cilia, suggesting that several different adenylate cyclases may couple to olfactory receptors and that there may be multiple receptor-mediated mechanisms for the generation of cAMP signals.
Immunogen: ADCY4 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 421~450 amino acids from the Central region of human ADCY4. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ADCY4 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ADCY4 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Nervous System Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to ADCY4, ID (ADCY4, Adenylate cyclase type 4, ATP pyrophosphate-lyase 4, Adenylate cyclase type IV, Adenylyl cyclase 4). Embryonic Tissue, Kidney tissues are correlated with this protein.
