The ADNP adnp (Catalog #MBS129320) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ADNP Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ADNP can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF).WB: 1:500-1:2000
IF: 1:50-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ADNP adnp for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ADNP adnp product has the following accession number(s) (GI #24636245) (NCBI Accession #Q9H2P0.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q9H2P0). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Vasoactive intestinal peptide is a neuroprotective factor that has a stimulatory effect on the growth of some tumor cells and an inhibitory effect on others. This gene encodes a protein that is upregulated by vasoactive intestinal peptide and may be involved in its stimulatory effect on certain tumor cells. The encoded protein contains one homeobox and nine zinc finger domains, suggesting that it functions as a transcription factor. This gene is also upregulated in normal proliferative tissues. Finally, the encoded protein may increase the viability of certain cell types through modulation of p53 activity. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding the same protein have been described.
Species: Human
Immunogen: Recombinant Protein. Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human ADNP
Calculated Molecular Weight: 123kDa. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ADNP are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ADNP may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Bone, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Heart, Intestine, Kidney, Liver, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein. ADNP also interacts with the following gene(s): ARID1A, OCT4, POU5F1, SMARCA4, SMARCC2, VIP.
