The ADRA1B adra1b (Catalog #MBS9202167) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ADRA1B Antibody (C-term) reacts with Human (Predicted Reactivity: Mouse, Rat) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ADRA1B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA).WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ADRA1B adra1b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ADRA1B adra1b product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4501959) (NCBI Accession #NP_000670.1) (Uniprot Accession #P35368). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Alpha-1-adrenergic receptors (alpha-1-ARs) are members of
the G protein-coupled receptor superfamily. They activate mitogenic
responses and regulate growth and proliferation of many cells.
There are 3 alpha-1-AR subtypes: alpha-1A, -1B and -1D, all of
which signal through the Gq/11 family of G-proteins and different
subtypes show different patterns of activation. This gene encodes
alpha-1B-adrenergic receptor, which induces neoplastic
transformation when transfected into NIH 3T3 fibroblasts and other
cell lines. Thus, this normal cellular gene is identified as a
protooncogene. This gene comprises 2 exons and a single large
intron of at least 20 kb that interrupts the coding region.

Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide. Antigen Source: HUMAN. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ADRA1B are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ADRA1B may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. ADRA1B also interacts with the following gene(s): ADRA1A, GNAS, TBXA2R. Bone, Intestine, Kidney, Lung, Uncharacterized Tissue, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. Arrhythmias, Cardiac, Cardiomegaly, Disease Models, Animal, Heart Diseases, Heart Failure, Hyperplasia, Hypertension, Hypertrophy, Hypotension, Pain are some of the diseases may be linked to ADRA1B Antibody (C-term).
