The AES n/a (Catalog #MBS6009054) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AES, CT (AES, GRG, Amino-terminal enhancer of split, Gp130-associated protein GAM, Protein ESP1, Protein GRG) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s AES can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AES n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the AES, CT (AES, GRG, Amino-terminal enhancer of split, Gp130-associated protein GAM, Protein ESP1, Protein GRG) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of AES (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal AES Antibody (C-term). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected (Lane 2) with the AES gene.)
Western Blot (WB) (AES Antibody (C-term) western blot analysis in 293 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the AES antibody detected the AES protein (arrow).)
The protein encoded by this gene is similar in sequence to the amino terminus of Drosophila enhancer of split groucho, a protein involved in neurogenesis during embryonic development. The encoded protein, which belongs to the groucho/TLE family of proteins, can function as a homooligomer or as a heteroologimer with other family members to dominantly repress the expression of other family member genes. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq].
Immunogen: AES antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 155-184 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human AES. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing AES are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as AES may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
