|The AHSG ahsg (Catalog #MBS2525254) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AHSG Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s AHSG can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
IHC: 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AHSG ahsg for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The AHSG ahsg product has the following accession number(s) (GI #156523970) (NCBI Accession #NP_001613.2). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human thyroid cancer using AHSG Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:60)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human brain using AHSG Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:60)
Alpha2-HS glycoprotein (AHSG), a glycoprotein present in the serum, is synthesized by hepatocytes. The AHSG molecule consists of two polypeptide chains, which are both cleaved from a proprotein encoded from a single mRNA. It is involved in several functions, such as endocytosis, brain development and the formation of bone tissue. The protein is commonly present in the cortical plate of the immature cerebral cortex and bone marrow hemopoietic matrix, and it has therefore been postulated that it participates in the development of the tissues. However, its exact significance is still obscure.
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human AHSG
Calculated Molecular Weight: 39kDa. Buffer: PBS with 0.05% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing AHSG are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as AHSG may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Brain Diseases, Calcinosis, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Fatty Liver, Heart Diseases, Heart Failure, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to AHSG Polyclonal Antibody.
