The anti-Rabbit IgG h+l n/a (Catalog #MBS560070) is an Antibody produced from Chicken and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Affinity Purified Chicken anti-Rabbit IgG h+l (adsorbed Against Human and Mouse IgG) reacts with Rabbit and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. The affinity purified anti rabbit IgG reacts with rabbit immunoglobulins and the papain derived Fc and Fab fragments by IEP and gel diffusion techniques. There is no reaction with mouse or human serum. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the anti-Rabbit IgG h+l n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Chickens were immunized with highly purified rabbit IgG. Eggs were collected and an IgY fraction was prepared. The resulting fraction was passed over an antigen containing immunoabsorbant from which the anti-rabbit IgG antibodies were immunoaffinity purified before being further absorbed against mouse and human IgG.
Buffer: Phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.2. Preservative: 0.1% sodium azide
Procedure: Chickens were immunized with highly purified rabbit IgG isolated from normal pooled rabbit serum, in Freund\'s adjuvant. Eggs were collected, the IgY fraction prepared and the anti rabbit IgG immunoaffinity purified off a solid phase immunoabsorbant. Anti Rabbit IgG was further absorbed against mouse and human IgG. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing anti-Rabbit IgG h+l are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as anti-Rabbit IgG h+l may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
