The AP2B1 ap2b1 (Catalog #MBS9404999) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AP2B1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s AP2B1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Western blotting: 1:500 - 1:2000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:50 - 1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AP2B1 ap2b1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The AP2B1 ap2b1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #71773106) (NCBI Accession #NP_001025177.1) (Uniprot Accession #P63010). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the AP2B1 Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using AP2B1 antibody.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded human kidney using AP2B1 antibody at dilution of 1:200 (400x lens).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded rat lung using AP2B1 antibody at dilution of 1:200 (400x lens).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded rat spleen using AP2B1 antibody at dilution of 1:200 (400x lens).)
The protein encoded by this gene is one of two large chain components of the assembly protein complex 2, which serves to link clathrin to receptors in coated vesicles. The encoded protein is found on the cytoplasmic face of coated vesicles in the plasma membrane. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Immunogen Type: Recombinant Protein
Immunogen Description: Recombinant protein of human AP2B1. Target Name: AP2B1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing AP2B1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as AP2B1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Bone, Brain, Kidney, Stomach tissues are correlated with this protein. AP2B1 also interacts with the following gene(s): AP2A2.
