The AP2M1 ap2m1 (Catalog #MBS619062) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AP2m1 (Adaptor-related Protein Complex 2 mu 1) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s AP2m1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Dilution: ELISA: 0.05-0.2ug/ml
Western Blot: 0.5-1ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AP2M1 ap2m1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The AP2M1 ap2m1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #119598698) (Uniprot Accession #Q96CW1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the AP2m1 (Adaptor-related Protein Complex 2 mu 1) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of recombinant human AP2M1 protein using 1ug/ml MBS619062 The signal was developed with IRDyeTM 800 Conjugated Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG.)
AP2M1 is a subunit of the heterotetrameric coat assembly protein complex 2 (AP2), which belongs to the adaptor complexes medium subunit family. AP2 is a heterotetramer composed of two large adaptins (either alpha-type subunit AP2A1 or AP2A2 paired with beta-type subunit AP2B1), a medium adaptin (mu-type subunit AP2M1) and a small adaptin (sigma-type subunit AP2S1). These component link clathrin to receptors in coated vesicles. Clathrin-associated protein complexes are believed to interact with the cytoplasmic tails of membrane proteins, leading to their selection and concentration.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide from amino terminal of human AP2M1 protein (Swiss Prot: Q96CW1). (KLH). In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing AP2M1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as AP2M1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Carcinoma, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Cystic Fibrosis, Fibrosis are some of the diseases may be linked to AP2m1 (Adaptor-related Protein Complex 2 mu 1). The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
