The ARRB2 arrb2 (Catalog #MBS2522670) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Beta Arrestin 2 Antibody reacts with H, M, Xenopus and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Beta Arrestin 2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF).WB 1:1000-1:4000
IHC 1:50-1:500
IF 1:20-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ARRB2 arrb2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ARRB2 arrb2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #39812055) (NCBI Accession #NP_945355.1) (Uniprot Accession #BC007427). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Testing Data (TD) (If result of Mouse Retina using anti-ARRB2 antibody.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded human tonsil tissue slide using Beta Arrestin 2 Antibody at dilution of 1:200.)
Beta Arrestin 2 is a member of arrestin/beta-arrestin protein family, which are expressed at high levels in the central nervous system (CNS)and play a critical role in the regulation of G-protein coupled receptors(GPCRs) including MOR. Beta Arrestin 2 is an adaptor protein that isimportant for the regulation of receptors belonging to both dopaminergicand opioid systems. Besides the brain, a cDNA for arrestin beta 2 wasisolated from thyroid gland, and thus it may also be involved in hormone-specific desensitization of TSH receptor.
Immunogen: Fusion protein of Beta Arrestin 2
Calculated MW: 46kd
Observed MW: 50kd. Buffer: PBS with 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol pH 7.3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ARRB2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ARRB2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. ARRB2 also interacts with the following gene(s): ADRB2. Amphetamine-Related Disorders, Brain Diseases, Drug-Induced Liver Injury, Drug-Related Side Effects and Adverse Reactions, Hyperalgesia, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Myocardial Ischemia, Poisoning are some of the diseases may be linked to Beta Arrestin 2 Antibody.
