Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Arrestin 1 antibody (Ser412) with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded human breast carcinoma tissue using Arrestin 1 antibody (Ser412))
Rabbit polyclonal Arrestin 1 antibody (Ser412).
Biological Significance: Arrestin 1 is a cytosolic protein and acts as a cofactor in the beta-adrenergic receptor kinase (BARK) mediated desensitization of beta-adrenergic receptors. Immunogen: Arrestin 1 antibody was raised in Rabbit using a synthesized phosphopeptide derived from human Arrestin-1 around the phosphorylation site of serine 412 (T-G-SP-P-Q) as the immunogen. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing Arrestin 1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as Arrestin 1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
