The ARSG arsg (Catalog #MBS9404894) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ARSG Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ARSG can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
Immunohistochemistry: 1:25-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ARSG arsg for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The ARSG arsg product has the following accession number(s) (GI #392050740) (NCBI Accession #NP_001254656.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q96EG1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the ARSG Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue using at dilution 1/30.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) ARSG.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Human prostate cancer tissue using at dilution 1/30.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) ARSG.

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the sulfatase enzyme family. Sulfatases hydrolyze sulfate esters from sulfated steroids, carbohydrates, proteoglycans, and glycolipids. They are involved in hormone biosynthesis, modulation of cell signaling, and degradation of macromolecules. This protein displays arylsulfatase activity at acidic pH, as is typical of lysosomal sulfatases, and has been shown to localize in the lysosomes. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been found for this gene.

Immunogen Type: Recombinant Protein
Immunogen Description: Fusion protein corresponding to residues near the C terminal of human arylsulfatase G. Target Name: ARSG. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ARSG are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ARSG may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. ARSG also interacts with the following gene(s): CSMD1, SULF1, SULF2. Blood, Brain, Eye, Kidney, Liver tissues are correlated with this protein.
