The ARTN artn (Catalog #MBS695419) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-human Artemin reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Artemin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB).Sandwich ELISA: To detect hArtemin by sandwich ELISA (using 100 mul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.5 - 2.0 mug/ml of this antibody is required. This antigen affinity purified antibody, in conjunction with Biotinylated Anti-Human Artemin as a detection antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant hArtemin.
Western Blot: To detect hArtemin by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hArtemin is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ARTN artn for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ARTN artn product has the following accession number(s) (GI #74744994) (NCBI Accession #Q5T4W7.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q5T4W7). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant hArtemin. Anti-Human Artemin specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing immobilized hArtemin matrix.
Immunogen: Recombinant Human Artemin. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ARTN are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ARTN may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Brain, Esophagus, Intestine, Kidney, Lung, Pancreas tissues are correlated with this protein. ARTN also interacts with the following gene(s): GDNF, GFRA1, GFRA3, NCAM1, NRTN, PSPN, RAC1, TRIM27. Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Squamous Cell, Cardiovascular Diseases, Hypertrophy, Inflammation, Lung Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Neoplasm Invasiveness, Nervous System Diseases, Skin Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to Anti-human Artemin. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
