The ASCL1 ascl1 (Catalog #MBS2517044) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ASCL1 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ASCL1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).IHC: 1:25-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ASCL1 ascl1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ASCL1 ascl1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #55743094) (NCBI Accession #NP_004307.2). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the ASCL1 Polyclonal Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human colon cancer tissue using ASCL1 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution 1:30)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human lung cancer tissue using ASCL1 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution 1:30)
This gene encodes a member of the basic helix-loop-helix (BHLH) family of transcription factors. The protein activates transcription by binding to the E box (5\'-CANNTG-3\'). Dimerization with other BHLH proteins is required for efficient DNA binding. This protein plays a role in the neuronal commitment and differentiation and in the generation of olfactory and autonomic neurons. Mutations in this gene may contribute to the congenital central hypoventilation syndrome (CCHS) phenotype in rare cases.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide of human ASCL1. Buffer: PBS with 0.05% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ASCL1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ASCL1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. ASCL1 also interacts with the following gene(s): GLI2, HES1, HES6, NOTCH1, SHH, SYP, TLE1, UBQLN1. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Kidney, Lung, Lymph Node, Nerve, Pancreas, Thymus, Thyroid tissues are correlated with this protein. Cell Transformation, Neoplastic, Death, Disease Models, Animal, Hyperplasia, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Nervous System Diseases, Neurobehavioral Manifestations are some of the diseases may be linked to ASCL1 Polyclonal Antibody.
