The ATP5A1 atp5a1 (Catalog #MBS6010965) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The ATP5A1, CT (ATP5A1, ATP5A, ATP5AL2, ATPM, ATP synthase subunit alpha, mitochondrial) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s ATP5A1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Suitable for use in Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500
Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ATP5A1 atp5a1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The ATP5A1 atp5a1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #50345984) (NCBI Accession #NP_001001937.1) (Uniprot Accession #P25705). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the ATP5A1, CT (ATP5A1, ATP5A, ATP5AL2, ATPM, ATP synthase subunit alpha, mitochondrial) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis in WiDr, NCI-H460, MDA-MB231 cell line lysates (35ug/lane) using MBS6010965. This demonstrates that MBS6010965 detected the ATP5A1 protein (arrow).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded lung carcinoma, using MBS6010965 followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of MBS6010965 for immunohistochemistry.)
This gene encodes a subunit of mitochondrial ATP synthase. Mitochondrial ATP synthase catalyzes ATP synthesis, using an electrochemical gradient of protons across the inner membrane during oxidative phosphorylation. ATP synthase is composed of two linked multi-subunit complexes: the soluble catalytic core, F1, and the membrane-spanning component, Fo, comprising the proton channel. The catalytic portion of mitochondrial ATP synthase consists of 5 different subunits (alpha, beta, gamma, delta, and epsilon) assembled with a stoichiometry of 3 alpha, 3 beta, and a single representative of the other 3. The proton channel consists of three main subunits (a, b, c). This gene encodes the alpha subunit of the catalytic core.
Immunogen: ATP5A1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 483~512 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human ATP5A1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing ATP5A1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as ATP5A1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
