The B7-1 cd80 (Catalog #MBS695289) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Biotinylated Anti-mB7-1 reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s B7-1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB).Direct Detection: To detect mB7-1 by direct ELISA (using 100 mul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25 - 1.0 mug/ml of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant mB7-1.
Sandwich ELISA: To detect mB7-1 by sandwich ELISA (using 100 mul/well antibody solution) a concentration of 0.25 - 1.0 mug/ml of this antibody is required. This biotinylated polyclonal antibody, in conjunction with Polyclonal Anti-Murine B7-1 as a capture antibody, allows the detection of at least 0.2 - 0.4 ng/well of recombinant mB7-1.
Western Blot: To detect mB7-1 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1 - 0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant mB7-1 is 1.5 - 3.0 ng/lane, under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the B7-1 cd80 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The B7-1 cd80 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #507873) (NCBI Accession #AAB60503.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure (>98%) recombinant mB7-1. Anti-Murine B7-1 specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography and then biotinylated.
In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing B7-1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as B7-1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
