The BAD n/a (Catalog #MBS6002326) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The BAD, phosphorylated (T94) (Bad, Bbc6, Bcl2 antagonist of cell death, Bcl-2-binding component 6, Bcl-xL/Bcl-2-associated death promoter) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s BAD can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Gel Shift Assay (GS/EMSA).Suitable for use in Dot Blot, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Dot blot 1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the BAD n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the BAD, phosphorylated (T94) (Bad, Bbc6, Bcl2 antagonist of cell death, Bcl-2-binding component 6, Bcl-xL/Bcl-2-associated death promoter) with the following immunoassay(s):
Dot Blot (DB) (Dot blot analysis of mouse BAD Antibody (Phospho T94) Phospho-specific Pab on nitrocellulose membrane. 50ng of Phospho-peptide or Non Phospho-peptide per dot were adsorbed. Antibody working concentrations are 0.6ug per ml.)
Promotes cell death. Successfully competes for the binding to Bcl-X(L), Bcl-2 and Bcl-W, thereby affecting the level of heterodimerization of these proteins with BAX. Can reverse the death repressor activity of Bcl-X(L), but not that of Bcl-2. Appears to act as a link between growth factor receptor signaling and the apoptotic pathways.
Immunogen: Mouse BAD Antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding T94 of mouse BAD. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing BAD are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as BAD may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
