The BASP1 basp1 (Catalog #MBS9417410) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The BASP1 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s BASP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).Western Blot: 1:500-2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the BASP1 basp1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The BASP1 basp1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #409971425) (NCBI Accession #NP_001258535.1) (Uniprot Accession #P80723). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the BASP1 Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
SDS-Page (Gel: 12%SDS-PAGE Lysate: 40 ug, Lane: Mouse urinary bladder tissue lysate, Primary antibody:BASP1 antibody at dilution 1/300, Secondary antibody: Goat anti rabbit IgG at 1/8000 dilution, Exposure time: 30 seconds)
This gene encodes a membrane bound protein with several transient phosphorylation sites and PEST motifs. Conservation of proteins with PEST sequences among different species supports their functional significance. PEST sequences typically occur in proteins with high turnover rates. Immunological characteristics of this protein are species specific. This protein also undergoes N-terminal myristoylation. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants that encode the same protein.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide of human BASP1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing BASP1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as BASP1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. BASP1 also interacts with the following gene(s): GAP43, MARCKS, WT1. Adenocarcinoma, Carcinoma, Carcinoma, Hepatocellular, Disease Models, Animal, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Liver Neoplasms, Neoplasm Metastasis, Pain are some of the diseases may be linked to BASP1 Antibody. Blood, Bone, Brain, Connective Tissue, Embryonic Tissue, Kidney, Muscle, Nerve, Skin, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein.
