Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the BMP15 Polyclonal Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of A549 cell using BMP15 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:400)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human thyroid cancer using BMP15 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:40)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human gastric cancer using BMP15 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:40)
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the bone morphogenetic protein family which is part of the transforming growth factor-beta superfamily. The transforming growth factor-beta superfamily includes large families of growth and differentiation factors. It is thought that this protein may be involved in oocyte maturation and follicular development as a homodimer or by forming heterodimers with a related protein, Gdf9. Defects in this gene are the cause of ovarian dysgenesis 2.
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human BMP15. Note: Centrifuge before opening to ensure complete recovery of vial contents. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing BMP15 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as BMP15 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Breast Neoplasms, Hyperplasia, Immune System Diseases, Infertility, Female, Kidney Diseases, Necrosis, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Urogenital Abnormalities, Weight Gain, Weight Loss are some of the diseases may be linked to BMP15 Polyclonal Antibody. BMP15 also interacts with the following gene(s): BMPR1B, BMPR2, BTG4, FGF7, FIGLA, FSHR, H1FOO, POF1B, ZAR1.
