The BMPR1B bmpr1b (Catalog #MBS2517110) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The BMPR1B Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s BMPR1B can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).IHC: 1:25-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the BMPR1B bmpr1b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The BMPR1B bmpr1b product has the following accession number(s) (GI #377823731) (NCBI Accession #NP_001243723.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the BMPR1B Polyclonal Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue using BMPR1B Polyclonal Antibody at dilution 1:30)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human gastric cancer tissue using BMPR1B Polyclonal Antibody at dilution 1:30)
This gene encodes a member of the bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) receptor family of transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. The ligands of this receptor are BMPs, which are members of the TGF-beta superfamily. BMPs are involved in endochondral bone formation and embryogenesis. These proteins transduce their signals through the formation of heteromeric complexes of 2 different types of serine (threonine) kinase receptors: type I receptors of about 50-55 kD and type II receptors of about 70-80 kD. Type II receptors bind ligands in the absence of type I receptors, but they require their respective type I receptors for signaling, whereas type I receptors require their respective type II receptors for ligand binding.
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human BMPR1B. Buffer: PBS with 0.05% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing BMPR1B are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as BMPR1B may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. BMPR1B also interacts with the following gene(s): BMP2, BMP4, BMP6, BMP7, BMPR2, GDF5, NOG, SMAD4, SMAD7.
