The BMX bmx (Catalog #MBS9412977) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The BMX Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s BMX can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF).Western blotting: 1:500~1:3000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:50~1:100
Immunofluorescence: 1:100~1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the BMX bmx for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The BMX bmx product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4502435) (NCBI Accession #NP_001712.1) (Uniprot Accession #P51813). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the BMX Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of extracts from COS-7 cells, using BMX antibody.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin-embedded human thyroid gland tissue using BMX antibody.)
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescence analysis of A549 cells, using BMX antibody.)
Non-receptor tyrosine kinase that plays central but diverse modulatory roles in various signaling processes involved in the regulation of actin reorganization, cell migration, cell proliferation and survival, cell adhesion, and apoptosis. Participates in signal transduction stimulated by growth factor receptors, cytokine receptors, G-protein coupled receptors, antigen receptors and integrins. Induces tyrosine phosphorylation of BCAR1 in response to integrin regulation. Activation of BMX by integrins is mediated by PTK2/FAK1, a key mediator of integrin signaling events leading to the regulation of actin cytoskeleton and cell motility. Plays a critical role in TNF-induced angiogenesis, and implicated in the signaling of TEK and FLT1 receptors, 2 important receptor families essential for angiogenesis. Required for the phosphorylation and activation of STAT3, a transcription factor involved in cell differentiation. Also involved in interleukin-6 (IL6) induced differentiation. Plays also a role in programming adaptive cytoprotection against extracellular stress in different cell systems, salivary epithelial cells, brain endothelial cells, and dermal fibroblasts. May be involved in regulation of endocytosis through its interaction with an endosomal protein RUFY1. May also play a role in the growth and differentiation of hematopoietic cells; as well as in signal transduction in endocardial and arterial endothelial cells.Tamagnone L., Oncogene 9:3683-3688(1994).Qiu Y., Proc. Immunogen Type: Peptide
Immunogen Description: Synthesized peptide derived from N-terminal of human BMX. Target Name: BMX. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing BMX are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as BMX may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
