The C-10 grcc10 (Catalog #MBS691329) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit Anti-Mouse C-10 reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s C-10 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB).Western Blot: To detect murine C-10 by Western-Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.1-0.2 ug/ml. Used in conjugation with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant murine C-10 is 1.5-3.0 ng/lane under either reducing or non-reducing conditions. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the C-10 grcc10 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The C-10 grcc10 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #7305107) (NCBI Accession #NP_038563.1) (Uniprot Accession #O35127). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Murine C10 belongs to the CC chemokine family and is expressed in myelopoietic bone marrow cultures when stimulated with GM-CSF, M-CSF, IL-3 or IL-4. It signals primarily through the CCR1 receptor. C10 is chemotactic for B cells, CD4+ T cells, monocytes and NK cells and also exhibits powerful suppressive activity on colony formation by different lineages of hematopoietic progenitors. The C10 contains the four highly conserved cysteine residues present in CC chemokines. The mature protein contains 95 amino acid residues. Recomb.
Antibody Generation: Produced from sera of rabbits pre-immunized with highly pure (98%) recombinant murine C-10. Anti-murine specific antibody was purified by affinity chromatography employing immobilized murine C-10 matrix. Buffer: PBS; pH 7.2. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing C-10 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as C-10 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
