The CARD14 card14 (Catalog #MBS2517739) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CARD14 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CARD14 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).WB: 1:200-1:1000
IHC: 1:25-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CARD14 card14 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CARD14 card14 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #384229040) (NCBI Accession #NP_001244899.1) (Uniprot Accession #BC018142). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer using CARD14 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:30)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human thyroid cancer using CARD14 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:30)
Background: This gene encodes a caspase recruitment domain-containing protein that is a member of the membrane-associated guanylate kinase (MAGUK) family of proteins. Members of this protein family are scaffold proteins that are involved in a diverse array of cellular processes including cellular adhesion, signal transduction and cell polarity control. This protein has been shown to specifically interact with BCL10, a protein known to function as a positive regulator of cell apoptosis and NF-kappaB activation. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CARD14 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CARD14 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Arthritis, Experimental, Granuloma, Hyperplasia, Hypertension, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Liver Diseases, Necrosis, Psoriasis are some of the diseases may be linked to CARD14 Polyclonal Antibody. CARD14 also interacts with the following gene(s): BCL10, MALT1, RIPK2.
