The CASKIN2 caskin2 (Catalog #MBS150096) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CASKIN2 Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CASKIN2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF).CASKIN2 antibody can be used for detection of EPAC1 by Western blot at 1 mug/mL. Antibody can also be used for immunocytochemistry starting at 2.5 mug/mL. For immunofluorescence start at 5 mug/mL. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CASKIN2 caskin2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CASKIN2 caskin2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #217416347) (NCBI Accession #NP_065804) (Uniprot Accession #Q8WXE0). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the CASKIN2 Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of CASKIN2 HeLa cell tissue lysate with CASKIN2 antibody at 1 μg/mL.)
Immunocytochemistry (IHC) (Immunocytochemistry of CASKIN2 in HeLa cells with CASKIN2 antibody at 2.5 μg/mL.)
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Immunofluorescence of CASKIN2 in HeLa cells with CASKIN2 antibody at 20 μg/mL.)
CASKIN2 Antibody: Calcium/calmodulin-dependent serine protein kinase (CASK) is a conserved multi-domain scaffolding protein involved in brain development, synapse formation, and establishment of cell polarity. CASKINs (CASK interacting protein) interact with CASK and is thought to play a role in CASK function, specifically by coupling CASK to distinct downstream effectors. CASKIN2 is a multidomain protein containing six N-terminal ankyrin repeats, one SH3 domain, and two sterile alpha motif domains followed by a long proline-rich sequence and a short conserved C-terminal domain. It is expressed ubiquitously with highest levels present in fetal and adult liver tissue.
Conjugate: Unconjugated
Immunogen: CASKIN2 antibody was raised against a 19 amino acid synthetic peptide near the amino terminus of human CASKIN2.
Buffer: CASKIN2 Antibody is supplied in PBS containing 0.02% sodium azide. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CASKIN2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CASKIN2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
