|The Casp12 casp12 (Catalog #MBS221649) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RABBIT ANTI CASPASE-12 (aa100-116) reacts with Human, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CASPASE-12 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology Paraffin*, Western Blot (WB).
Immunohistology - Paraffin: Application Note: This product requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment prior to staining of paraffin sections.
Western Blotting: Minimum Dilution: 0.5ug/ml; Maximum Dilution: 1ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Casp12 casp12 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The Casp12 casp12 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #157951684) (NCBI Accession #NP_033938.3) (Uniprot Accession #O08736). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the RABBIT ANTI CASPASE-12 (aa100-116) with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data #1 (Staining of formailin fixed paraffin processed mouse liver with anti-Caspase 12 at 2ug/ml (MBS221649))
Testing Data #2 (Western blot analysis of mouse brain lysate probed with Rabbit anti caspase-12 (MBS221649) in the absence (A) or presence (B) of blocking peptide)
MBS221649 recognises an epitope within the internal region of murine caspase 12. Caspase 12 is a member of the interleukin-1 Beta converting enzyme (ICE) subfamily of caspases. Caspase 12 is ubiquitously expressed in murine tissue and is localised to the endoplasmic reticulum.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.02% Sodium Azide. Immunogen: Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 100-116 of murine caspase 12.
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Antiserum Preparation: Antisera to mouse caspase 12 were raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
Target Species: Mouse. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing Casp12 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as Casp12 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Heart, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Spinal Cord, Thymus tissues are correlated with this protein.
