The CD281 tlr1 (Catalog #MBS221470) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RABBIT ANTI HUMAN CD281 (N-TERMINAL) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD281 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology Frozen, Western Blot (WB).Western Blot: Rabbit anti Human CD281 detects a band of approximately 90kDa in mouse spleen lysates.
Immunohistology - Frozen: Maximum Dilution: 10ug/ml
Western Blotting: Minimum Dilution: 1; Maximum Dilution: 4ug/ml. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD281 tlr1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD281 tlr1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #41350337) (NCBI Accession #NP_003254.2) (Uniprot Accession #Q15399). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the RABBIT ANTI HUMAN CD281 (N-TERMINAL) with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data #1 (Western blot analysis of mouse spleen lysate probed with Rabbit anti Human CD281 (MBS221470) at 1(A), 2(B) and 4(C) ug/ml)
Testing Data #2 (Immunohistochemical staining of mouse spleen with Rabbit anti Human CD281(MBS221470))
Rabbit anti Human CD281 antibody detects an epitope within the N-terminal (NT) region of CD281, also known as toll like receptor 1 (TLR1). TLRs recognize pathogen associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) that are expressed on infectious agents, and serve as an important link between the innate and adaptive immune response through the production of cytokines. TLR1 is co-expressed with TLR2 on monocytes and dendritic cells where they form heterodimers that can recognize peptidoglycan and bacterial lipopeptides, and in particular triacylated lipoproteins. TLR1 can also regulate other TLR responses; TLR1 can associate with TLR4 and inhibit its signalling in endothelial cells, and can associate with TLR2 to inhibit the TLR2/TLR6 mediated response to phenol-soluble modulin.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.02% Sodium Azide (NaN3). Histology Positive Control Tissue: Mouse spleen.
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Antiserum Preparation: Antisera to CD281 were raised by repeated immunisations of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography.
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD281 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD281 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
