The CD2AP cd2ap (Catalog #MBS9400919) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD2AP Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD2AP can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Western blotting: 1:1000-1:5000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-1:300. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD2AP cd2ap for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD2AP cd2ap product has the following accession number(s) (GI #11321634) (NCBI Accession #NP_036252.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q9Y5K6). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the CD2AP Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data (Gel: 6%SDS-PAGE Lysates (from left to right): A431 and Raji cell Amount of lysate: 40ug per lane Primary antibody: 1/1000 dilution Secondary antibody dilution: 1/8000 Exposure time: 1 second)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue using at dilution 1/70.)
This gene encodes a scaffolding molecule that regulates the actin cytoskeleton. The protein directly interacts with filamentous actin and a variety of cell membrane proteins through multiple actin binding sites, SH3 domains, and a proline-rich region containing binding sites for SH3 domains. The cytoplasmic protein localizes to membrane ruffles, lipid rafts, and the leading edges of cells. It is implicated in dynamic actin remodeling and membrane trafficking that occurs during receptor endocytosis and cytokinesis. Haploinsufficiency of this gene is implicated in susceptibility to glomerular disease.
Immunogen Type: Peptide
Immunogen Description: Synthetic peptide corresponding to a region derived from internal residues of human CD2-associated protein. Target Name: CD2AP. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD2AP are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD2AP may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Kidney, Lymph Node, Muscle, Skin tissues are correlated with this protein. Acute Kidney Injury, Alzheimer Disease, Edema, Fibrosis, Glomerulosclerosis, Focal Segmental, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Necrosis, Proteinuria, Renal Insufficiency are some of the diseases may be linked to CD2AP Antibody.
