The CD3d cd3d (Catalog #MBS840696) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD3d Antibody reacts with Human, Monkey and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD3d can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunocytochemistry (ICC).WB: 1:500 - 1:1000, IF/IC: 1:100 - 1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD3d cd3d for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD3d cd3d product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4502669) (NCBI Accession #NP_000723.1) (Uniprot Accession #P04234). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Testing Data
Polyclonal Antibody to detect CD3d in human and monkey samples.
Background: T-cell surface glycoprotein CD3 delta chain, also known as CD3D, is a single-pass type I membrane protein. CD3D, together with CD3-gamma,CD3-epsilon and CD3-zeta, and the T-cell receptor alpha/beta and gamma/delta heterodimers, forms the T cell receptor-CD3 complex. T cell receptor-CD3 complex plays an important role in coupling antigen recognition to several intracellular signal-transduction pathways. This complex is critical for T-cell development and function, and represents one of the most complex transmembrane receptors. The T cell receptor-CD3 complex is unique in having ten cytoplasmic immunoreceptor tyrosine based activation motifs (ITAMs). Defects in CD3D cause severe combined immunodeficiency autosomal recessive T-cell-negative/B-cell-positive/NK cell-positive (T-/B+/NK+SCID) which is a genetically and clinically heterogeneous group of rare congenital disorders characterized by impairment of both humoral and cell-mediated immunity, leukopenia, and low or absent antibody levels.
Immunogen: This CD3d antibody is generated from KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the center region of human CD3d. The exact sequence is proprietary.
Positive Control: WB: CCRFCEM, Jurkat, HuT78 whole cell lysates, IF/IC: Jurkat cells. Handling: The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD3d are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD3d may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
