The CD97 cd97 (Catalog #MBS2527138) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CD97 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CD97 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).IHC: 1:25-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD97 cd97 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CD97 cd97 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #17978491) (NCBI Accession #NP_510966.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer tissue using CD97 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution 1:35)
This gene encodes a member of the EGF-TM7 subfamily of adhesion G protein-coupled receptors, which mediate cell-cell interactions. These proteins are cleaved by self-catalytic proteolysis into a large extracellular subunit and seven-span transmembrane subunit, which associate at the cell surface as a receptor complex. The encoded protein may play a role in cell adhesion as well as leukocyte recruitment, activation and migration, and contains multiple extracellular EGF-like repeats which mediate binding to chondroitin sulfate and the cell surface complement regulatory protein CD55.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide of human CD97. Buffer: PBS with 0.05% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CD97 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CD97 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. CD97 also interacts with the following gene(s): CD55, CD59, EMR2. Breast Neoplasms, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Lung Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Experimental, Pancreatic Neoplasms, Prostatic Neoplasms, Weight Loss are some of the diseases may be linked to CD97 Polyclonal Antibody. Blood, Bone, Bone Marrow, Brain, Lung, Lymph, Lymph Node, Muscle, Thyroid, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein.
