The CDC25A n/a (Catalog #MBS2521316) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CDC25A Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CDC25A can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB).WB: 1:500-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CDC25A n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CDC25A n/a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #68135376) (NCBI Accession #AAY85387.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of Mouse heart tissue using CDC25A Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:162.5)
CDC25A is a member of the CDC25 family of phosphatases. CDC25A is required for progression from G1 to the S phase of the cell cycle. It activates the cyclin-dependent kinase CDC2 by removing two phosphate groups. CDC25A is specifically degraded in response to DNA damage, which prevents cells with chromosomal abnormalities from progressing through cell division. CDC25A is an oncogene, although its exact role in oncogenesis has not been demonstrated. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human CDC25A
Calculated Molecular Weight: 59kDa. Buffer: PBS with 0.05% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CDC25A are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CDC25A may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
