|The CDC6 Ser54 n/a (Catalog #MBS626932) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CDC6, phosphorylated Ser54 (Cell Division Control Protein 6 Homolog, CDC6-related Protein, p62(cdc6), HsCDC6, Cdc18-related Protein, HsCDC18, CDC18L) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CDC6 Ser54 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, and Immunohistochemistry.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-1:500
Immunohistochemistry: 1:50-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CDC6 Ser54 n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CDC6 Ser54 n/a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #113197109). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

The protein encoded by this gene is highly similar to Saccharomyces cerevisiae Cdc6, a protein essential for the initiation of DNA replication. This protein functions as a regulator at the early steps of DNA replication. It localizes in cell nucleus during cell cyle G1, but translocates to the cytoplasm at the start of S phase. The subcellular translocation of this protein during cell cyle is regulated through its phosphorylation by Cdks. Transcription of this protein was reported to be regulated in response to mitogenic signals through transcriptional control mechanism involving E2F proteins.
Immunogen: Synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to amino acid residues surrounding Ser54 of human Cdc6 (KLH). In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CDC6 Ser54 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CDC6 Ser54 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Bone, Brain, Connective Tissue, Ear, Embryonic Tissue, Heart, Kidney, Muscle, Umbilical Cord, Vascular tissues are correlated with this protein. CDC6 Ser54 also interacts with the following gene(s): FLNA.
