The CDC73 cdc73 (Catalog #MBS9206657) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CDC73 Antibody (Center) reacts with Human (Predicted Reactivity: Chicken, Mouse, Rat) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CDC73 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF), ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS).WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CDC73 cdc73 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CDC73 cdc73 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #40018640) (NCBI Accession #NP_078805.3) (Uniprot Accession #Q6P1J9). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the CDC73 Antibody (Center) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of CDC73 Antibody (Center) in 293 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). CDC73 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human prostate carcinoma reacted with CDC73 Antibody (Center), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS) (CDC73 Antibody (Center) flow cytometry analysis of MCF-7 cells (bottom histogram) compared to a negative control cell (top histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of CDC73 Antibody (Center) with Hela cell followed by Alexa Fluor 488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green). Actin filaments have been labeled with Alexa Fluor 555 phalloidin (red).)
CDC73 encodes a tumor suppressor that is involved in transcriptional and post-transcriptional control pathways. The protein is a component of the the PAF protein complex, which associates with the RNA polymerase II subunit POLR2A and with a histone methyltransferase complex. This protein appears to facilitate the association of 3\' mRNA processing factors with actively-transcribed chromatin.
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide. Antigen Source: HUMAN. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CDC73 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CDC73 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
