The CDCP1 cdcp1 (Catalog #MBS244431) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit Polyclonal to Human CDCP1 reacts with Chimpanzee, Human, OrangutanPredicted Reactivity: Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey (at least 90% immunogen sequence identity) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CDCP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC - Paraffin).
IHC-P (10 - 15 ug/ml). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CDCP1 cdcp1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CDCP1 cdcp1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #30410805) (NCBI Accession #NP_073753.3) (Uniprot Accession #Q9H5V8). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Rabbit Polyclonal to Human CDCP1 with the following immunoassay(s):
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Anti-CDCP1 antibody IHC of human small intestine. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Anti-CDCP1 antibody IHC of human prostate. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval.)
CDCP1 (Cub Domain Containing Protein) was isolated by representational difference analysis using extracts from colon carcinoma and normal colon. It is a putative transmembrane protein with three CUB domains and is thought to be involved in cell adhesion or interaction with the extracellular matrix. CDCP1 undergoes phosphorylation on tyrosine and may undergo shedding as the protein has been detected in the lumen of both normal and cancerous colon crypts by IHC.

Immunogen Type: Synthetic peptide
Immunogen: CDCP1 antibody was raised against synthetic 15 amino acid peptide from internal region of human CDCP1. Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis: Human, Chimpanzee, Orangutan, Monkey (100%); Gorilla, Gibbon, Marmoset (93%); Galago, Panda, Bat, Dog, Rabbit, Pig (87%); Mouse, Rat, Hamster (80%).
Antigen Modification: Internal. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CDCP1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CDCP1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
