The CDH1 cdh1 (Catalog #MBS6003474) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CDH1, NT (E-Cadherin, Epithelial Cadherin, Uvomorulin, Cadherin-1, CAM 120/80, CD324, UVO) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CDH1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot.
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:50-1:100. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CDH1 cdh1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

The CDH1 cdh1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #148921649) (NCBI Accession #AAI46663.1) (Uniprot Accession #P12830). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

CDH1 is a classical cadherin from the cadherin superfamily. This protein is a calcium dependent cell-cell adhesion glycoprotein comprised of five extracellular cadherin repeats, a transmembrane region and a highly conserved cytoplasmic tail. Mutations are correlated with gastric, breast, colorectal, thyroid and ovarian cancer. Loss of function is thought to contribute to progression in cancer by increasing proliferation, invasion, and/or metastasis. The ectodomain of this protein mediates bacterial adhesion to mammalian cells and the cytoplasmic domain is required for internalization.

CDH1 cdh1

Immunogen: Synthetic peptide selected from the N-terminal region of human CDH1 (KLH). In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CDH1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CDH1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Adenocarcinoma, Breast Neoplasms, Carcinoma, Carcinoma, Squamous Cell, Colorectal Neoplasms, Disease Progression, Neoplasm Invasiveness, Neoplasm Metastasis, Neoplasms, Stomach Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to CDH1, NT (E-Cadherin, Epithelial Cadherin, Uvomorulin, Cadherin-1, CAM 120/80, CD324, UVO). Bladder, Blood, Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Lymph Node, Prostate, Stomach tissues are correlated with this protein. CDH1 also interacts with the following gene(s): CBLL1, CDC27, CTNNA1, CTNNB1, CTNND1, JUP, SRC, UBC.
