|The CDw198 ccr8 (Catalog #MBS221618) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. MyBioSource\'s CDw198 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).
Western Blotting: Maximum Dilution: 1/500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CDw198 ccr8 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CDw198 ccr8 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4885121) (NCBI Accession #NP_005192.1) (Uniprot Accession #P51685). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the RABBIT ANTI HUMAN CDw198 with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data #1 (Western blot analysis of CDw198 in human spleen lysate with MBS221618)
MBS221618 recognises the chemokine receptor CCR8, also known as CDw198, which has been identified as a co-receptor for HIV infection. CCR8 is a receptor for the human chemokine 1-309 which is expressed on spleen, thymus and T lymphoblastic cell lines. MBS221618 detects a band of approximately 50kD.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.02% Sodium Azide. Immunogen: Peptide corresponding to amino acids 183 to 201 of human CDw198 (CCR8).
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Antiserum Preparation: Antisera to CDw198 were raised by repeated immunisation of rabbit with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.
Target Species: Human. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CDw198 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CDw198 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. CDw198 also interacts with the following gene(s): CCL1, CCL16, CCL17, CCL20, CCL21, CCL4, CCL5, CXCL10, CXCL11, CXCL9. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Autoimmune Diseases, Disease Models, Animal, Encephalomyelitis, Autoimmune, Experimental, Hypersensitivity, Delayed, Immune System Diseases, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Respiratory Tract Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to RABBIT ANTI HUMAN CDw198. Blood tissues are correlated with this protein.
