Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the GOAT ANTI MOUSE CDw198 with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data #1 (Staining of paraffin embedded mouse spleen with Goat anti mouse CDw198 (MBS223758))
Goat anti mouse CDw198 polyclonal antibody specifically recognizes mouse CDw198, otherwise known as CCR8 (C-C chemokine receptor type 8), a transmembrane glycoprotein and member of the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family, which acts a high-affinity receptor for the chemokine I-309 (CCL1), implicated in the regulation of monocyte chemotaxis and thymocyte apoptosis. CDw198 is constitutively expressed by monocytes, preferentially expressed on Th2 (type 2 helper T) cells, and acts as a co-receptor with CD4 for HIV1 infection.
Perservative Stabilisers: 0.1% Sodium Azide (NaN3). Histology Positive Control Tissue: Spleen
Buffer Solution: Phosphate buffered saline
Antiserum Preparation: Antiserum to mouse CDw198 was raised by repeated immunisation of goats with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared by affinity chromatography.
Target Species: Mouse. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CDw198 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CDw198 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood tissues are correlated with this protein. Autoimmune Diseases, Disease Models, Animal, Encephalomyelitis, Autoimmune, Experimental, Hypersensitivity, Delayed, Immune System Diseases, Inflammation, Kidney Diseases, Lung Diseases, Necrosis, Respiratory Tract Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to GOAT ANTI MOUSE CDw198. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
