The CNGB3 cngb3 (Catalog #MBS645981) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CNGB3, NT (CNGB3, Cyclic nucleotide-gated cation channel beta-3, Cone photoreceptor cGMP-gated channel subunit beta, Cyclic nucleotide-gated cation channel modulatory subunit, Cyclic nucleotide-gated channel beta-3) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CNGB3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CNGB3 cngb3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CNGB3 cngb3 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #116642889) (NCBI Accession #NP_061971.3) (Uniprot Accession #Q9NQW8). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the CNGB3, NT (CNGB3, Cyclic nucleotide-gated cation channel beta-3, Cone photoreceptor cGMP-gated channel subunit beta, Cyclic nucleotide-gated cation channel modulatory subunit, Cyclic nucleotide-gated channel beta-3) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of MDA-MB435 cell line lysates (35ug/lane) using MBS645981. This demonstrates MBS645981 detected the CNGB3 protein (arrow).)
This gene encodes the beta subunit of a cyclic nucleotide-gated ion channel. The encoded beta subunit appears to play a role in modulation of channel function in cone photoreceptors. This heterotetrameric channel is necessary for sensory transduction, and mutations in this gene have been associated with achromatopsia 3, progressive cone dystrophy, and juvenile macular degeneration, also known as Stargardt Disease.
Immunogen: CNGB3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 33-63 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human CNGB3. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CNGB3 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CNGB3 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. CNGB3 also interacts with the following gene(s): CNGA3, ELOVL4, GNAT2, NYX, PDE6C.
