The COPS7A cops7a (Catalog #MBS7002280) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rabbit anti-human COP9 signalosome complex subunit 7a polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s COP9 signalosome complex subunit 7a can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).Recommended dilution: WB:1:500-2000, IHC:1:20-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the COPS7A cops7a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The COPS7A cops7a product has the following accession number(s) (GI #255760064) (NCBI Accession #NP_001157565.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q9UBW8). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Component of the COP9 signalosome complex (CSN), a complex involved in various cellular and developmental processes. The CSN complex is an essential regulator of the ubiquitin (Ubl) conjugation pathway by mediating the deneddylation of the cullin subunits of SCF-type E3 ligase complexes, leading to decrease the Ubl ligase activity of SCF-type complexes such as SCF, CSA or DDB2. The complex is also involved in phosphorylation of p53/TP53, JUN, I-kappa-B-alpha/NFKBIA, ITPK1 and IRF8/ICSBP, possibly via its association with CK2 and PKD kinases. CSN-dependent phosphorylation of TP53 and JUN promotes and protects degradation by the Ubl system, respectively.

In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing COPS7A are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as COPS7A may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
