The CRH crh (Catalog #MBS126531) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CRH Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CRH can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).WB: 1:500 - 1:2000
IHC: 1:50 - 1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CRH crh for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CRH crh product has the following accession number(s) (GI #117445) (NCBI Accession #P06850.1) (Uniprot Accession #P06850). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the CRH Polyclonal Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of extracts of human brain, using CRH antibody.
Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (MBS128200) at 1:10000 dilution.
Lysates/proteins: 25ug per lane.
Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST.)
Corticotropin-releasing hormone is secreted by the paraventricular nucleus (PVN) of the hypothalamus in response to stress. Marked reduction in this protein has been observed in association with Alzheimer disease and autosomal recessive hypothalamic corticotropin deficiency has multiple and potentially fatal metabolic consequences including hypoglycemia and hepatitis. In addition to production in the hypothalamus, this protein is also synthesized in peripheral tissues, such as T lymphocytes and is highly expressed in the placenta. In the placenta it is a marker that determines the length of gestation and the timing of parturition and delivery. A rapid increase in circulating levels of the hormone occurs at the onset of parturition, suggesting that, in addition to its metabolic functions, this protein may act as a trigger for parturition. Immunogen: Recombinant Protein. Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human CRH
Calculated Molecular Weight: 21kDa. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CRH are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CRH may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. CRH also interacts with the following gene(s): ADCYAP1, AVP, CRHR1, CRHR2, GHRH, MC4R, NPY, POMC, UCN.
