The CSF1R csf1r (Catalog #MBS9404027) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CSF1R antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CSF1R can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).Western blotting: 1:500 - 1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CSF1R csf1r for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CSF1R csf1r product has the following accession number(s) (GI #569026720) (NCBI Accession #NP_001275634.1) (Uniprot Accession #P07333). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using CSF1R antibody.)
The protein encoded by this gene is the receptor for colony stimulating factor 1, a cytokine which controls the production, differentiation, and function of macrophages. This receptor mediates most if not all of the biological effects of this cytokine. Ligand binding activates the receptor kinase through a process of oligomerization and transphosphorylation. The encoded protein is a tyrosine kinase transmembrane receptor and member of the CSF1/PDGF receptor family of tyrosine-protein kinases. Mutations in this gene have been associated with a predisposition to myeloid malignancy. The first intron of this gene contains a transcriptionally inactive ribosomal protein L7 processed pseudogene oriented in the opposite direction.
Immunogen Type: Peptide
Immunogen Description: A synthetic peptide of human CSF1R. Target Name: CSF1R. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CSF1R are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CSF1R may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Atherosclerosis, Breast Neoplasms, Cardiovascular Diseases, Death, Inflammation, Leukemia, Myeloid, Acute, Lung Diseases, Lung Neoplasms, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Experimental are some of the diseases may be linked to CSF1R antibody. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. CSF1R also interacts with the following gene(s): CBL, CSF1, GRB2, IL34, ITGAV, MYB, PIK3R1, SHC1, SOCS1, SPI1.
