The CSH1 csh1 (Catalog #MBS2526488) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CSH1 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CSH1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).WB 1:500-1:2000
IHC 1:50-1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CSH1 csh1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CSH1 csh1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #4503083) (NCBI Accession #BC005921) (Uniprot Accession #P0DML2). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the CSH1 Polyclonal Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis of Human placenta and breast infiltRative duct tissue using CSH1 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:200)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human brain using CSH1 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:40)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer using CSH1 Polyclonal Antibody at dilution of 1:40)
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the somatotropin/prolactin family of hormones and plays an important role in growth control. The gene is located at the growth hormone locus on chromosome 17 along with four other related genes in the same transcriptional orientation; an arrangement which is thought to have evolved by a series of gene duplications. Although the five genes share a remarkably high degree of sequence identity, they are expressed selectively in different tissues. Alternative splicing generates additional isoforms of each of the five growth hormones, leading to further diversity and potential for specialization.
Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human CSH1. Note: Centrifuge before opening to esure complete recovery of vial contents. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CSH1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CSH1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Breast Neoplasms, Cardiovascular Diseases, Diabetes Mellitus, Disease Models, Animal, Endocrine Gland Neoplasms, Nervous System Diseases, Ovarian Neoplasms, Silver-Russell Syndrome are some of the diseases may be linked to CSH1 Polyclonal Antibody.
