The Cyth1 cyth1 (Catalog #MBS6001991) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CYTH1, NT (CYTH1, D17S811E, PSCD1, Cytohesin-1, PH, SEC7 and coiled-coil domain-containing protein 1, SEC7 homolog B2-1) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CYTH1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Cyth1 cyth1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The Cyth1 cyth1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #183986521) (NCBI Accession #AAI66417.1) (Uniprot Accession #P97694). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the CYTH1, NT (CYTH1, D17S811E, PSCD1, Cytohesin-1, PH, SEC7 and coiled-coil domain-containing protein 1, SEC7 homolog B2-1) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (CYTH1 Antibody (N-term) western blot analysis in HL-60 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the CYTH1 antibody detected the CYTH1 protein (arrow).)
The protein encoded by this gene is a member of the PSCD family. Members of this family have identical structural organization that consists of an N-terminal coiled-coil motif, a central Sec7 domain, and a C-terminal pleckstrin homology (PH) domain. The coiled-coil motif is involved in homodimerization, the Sec7 domain contains guanine-nucleotide exchange protein (GEP) activity, and the PH domain interacts with phospholipids and is responsible for association of PSCDs with membranes. Members of this family appear to mediate the regulation of protein sorting and membrane trafficking. This gene is highly expressed in natural killer and peripheral T cells, and regulates the adhesiveness of integrins at the plasma membrane of lymphocytes. The encoded protein is 83% homologous to that of CYTH2.
Immunogen: CYTH1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 36-65 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human CYTH1. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing Cyth1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as Cyth1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
