The DBH dbh (Catalog #MBS9213062) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DBH Antibody (N-term P42) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s DBH can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunofluorescence (IF).WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DBH dbh for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The DBH dbh product has the following accession number(s) (GI #116534900) (NCBI Accession #NP_000778.3) (Uniprot Accession #P09172). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the DBH Antibody (N-term P42) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (DBH Antibody (N-term P42) western blot analysis in A2058 cell line lysates (35ug/lane).This demonstrates the DBH antibody detected the DBH protein (arrow).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (DBH Antibody (N-term P42) immunohistochemistry analysis in formalin fixed and paraffin embedded human brain tissue followed by peroxidase conjugation of the secondary antibody and DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of DBH Antibody (N-term P42) for immunohistochemistry. Clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Immunofluorescence (IF) (Confocal immunofluorescent analysis of DBH Antibody (N-term P42) with HepG2 cell followed by Alexa Fluor??488-conjugated goat anti-rabbit lgG (green). DAPI was used to stain the cell nuclear (blue).)

The protein encoded by this gene is an oxidoreductase
belonging to the copper type II, ascorbate-dependent monooxygenase
family. It is present in the synaptic vesicles of postganglionic
sympathetic neurons and converts dopamine to norepinephrine. It
exists in both soluble and membrane-bound forms, depending on the
absence or presence, respectively, of a signal peptide. [provided

Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide. Antigen Source: HUMAN. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing DBH are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as DBH may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
