The Dectin-1 n/a (Catalog #MBS840382) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Dectin-1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s Dectin-1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB).Western blotting (0.5-4 ug/ml). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually. The antibody recognizes 28 kDa of Dectin-1 from samples of human origins. A ~16 kDa monomeric form and a 43 kDa glycoprotein can also be detected. Reactivity to other species has not been tested. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Dectin-1 n/a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the Dectin-1 Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Testing Data
Background: Dectin-1also known as beta-glucan receptor is a small type II transmembrane receptor containing lectin-like carbohydrate recognition domain. Dectin-1 plays a role in beta-glucan dependant, nonopsonic recognition of zymosan by primary macropahge. Dectin-1 is expressed on macrophages and neutrophils and on some dendritic cells subpopulation.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide surrounding amino acid 161of human Dectin-1. Handling: The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing Dectin-1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as Dectin-1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results.
