The DEDD dedd (Catalog #MBS6000447) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DEDD, ID (DEDD, DEDPRO1, DEFT, Death effector domain-containing protein, DEDPro1, Death effector domain-containing testicular molecule, FLDED-1) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s DEDD can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB).Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA
Dilution: ELISA: 1:1,000
Western Blot: 1:100-500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DEDD dedd for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The DEDD dedd product has the following accession number(s) (GI #49168596) (NCBI Accession #CAG38793.1) (Uniprot Accession #O75618). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the DEDD, ID (DEDD, DEDPRO1, DEFT, Death effector domain-containing protein, DEDPro1, Death effector domain-containing testicular molecule, FLDED-1) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western Blot analysis og MDA-MB453 cell line lysates (35ug/lane) using MBS6000447. This demonstrates that MBS6000447 detected the DEDD protein (arrow).)
This gene encodes a protein that contains a death effector domain (DED). DED is a protein-protein interaction domain shared by adaptors, regulators and executors of the programmed cell death pathway. Overexpression of this gene was shown to induce weak apoptosis. Upon stimulation, this protein was found to translocate from cytoplasm to nucleus and colocalize with UBTF, a basal factor required for RNA polymerase I transcription, in the nucleolus. At least three transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
Immunogen: DEDD antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 114-141 amino acids from the Central region of human DEDD. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing DEDD are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as DEDD may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Blood, Brain, Kidney, Liver, Lung, Muscle, Placenta, Skin, Uncharacterized Tissue, Uterus tissues are correlated with this protein.
