The DNM1 dnm1 (Catalog #MBS2527216) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DNM1 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s DNM1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DNM1 dnm1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. The DNM1 dnm1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #570359601) (NCBI Accession #NP_001275668.1). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using DNM1 antibody.)
This gene encodes a member of the dynamin subfamily of GTP-binding proteins. The encoded protein possesses unique mechanochemical properties used to tubulate and sever membranes, and is involved in clathrin-mediated endocytosis and other vesicular trafficking processes. Actin and other cytoskeletal proteins act as binding partners for the encoded protein, which can also self-assemble leading to stimulation of GTPase activity. More than sixty highly conserved copies of the 3\' region of this gene are found elsewhere in the genome, particularly on chromosomes Y and 15. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.

Santa Cruz Alternative: Potential replacement for Santa Cruz Biotechnology antibody catalog# sc-6402 / sc-6401 / sc-58260 / sc-11362. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing DNM1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as DNM1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Ataxia, Brain Diseases, Cognition Disorders, Dog Diseases, Fibrosis, Kidney Diseases, Memory Disorders, Neurobehavioral Manifestations are some of the diseases may be linked to DNM1 Antibody. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene. Brain, Embryonic Tissue, Eye, Kidney, Muscle, Nerve, Testis tissues are correlated with this protein. DNM1 also interacts with the following gene(s): SH3GL2.
