The DOK1 dok1 (Catalog #MBS9206118) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DOK1 Antibody (N-term) reacts with Human (Predicted Reactivity: Bovine, Mouse, Rat) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s DOK1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).WB~~1:1000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DOK1 dok1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The DOK1 dok1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #308737010) (NCBI Accession #NP_001184189.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q99704). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the DOK1 Antibody (N-term) with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of anti-DOK1 Pab in HL-60 cell lysate. DOK1 (Arrow) was detected using purified Pab. Secondary HRP-anti-rabbit was used for signal visualization with chemiluminescence.)
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of DOK1 (arrow) using DOK1 Antibody (N-term). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the DOK1 gene (Lane 2).)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human cancer tissue reacted with the primary antibody, which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by AEC staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated. BC = breast carcinoma; HC = hepatocarcinoma.)
DOK1 is constitutively tyrosine phosphorylated in hematopoietic progenitors isolated from chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) patients in the chronic phase. It may be a critical substrate for p210(bcr/abl), a chimeric protein whose presence is associated with CML. DOK1 contains a putative pleckstrin homology domain at the amino terminus and ten PXXP SH3 recognition motifs. DOK2 binds p120 (RasGAP) from CML cells. It has been postulated to play a role in mitogenic signaling.
Antigen Type: Synthetic Peptide. Antigen Source: HUMAN. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing DOK1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as DOK1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Breast Neoplasms, Disease Models, Animal, Fibrosis, Hyperplasia, Hypertrophy, Inflammation, Leukemia, Necrosis, Neoplasms, Experimental, Stomach Neoplasms are some of the diseases may be linked to DOK1 Antibody (N-term).
