The DPEP1 dpep1 (Catalog #MBS9125835) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DPEP1 Polyclonal Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s DPEP1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC).WB: 1:500 - 1:2000
IHC: 1:50 - 1:200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DPEP1 dpep1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The DPEP1 dpep1 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #92090943) (NCBI Accession #P16444.3) (Uniprot Accession #P16444). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the DPEP1 Polyclonal Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB) (Western blot analysis of extracts of various cell lines, using DPEP1 antibody at 1:1000 dilution.
Secondary antibody: HRP Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG (H+L) (MBS128200) at 1:10000 dilution.
Lysates/proteins: 25ug per lane.
Blocking buffer: 3% nonfat dry milk in TBST.)
The protein encoded by this gene is a kidney membrane enzyme involved in the metabolism of glutathione and other similar proteins by dipeptide hydrolysis. The encoded protein is known to regulate leukotriene activity by catalyzing the conversion of leukotriene D4 to leukotriene E4. This protein uses zinc as a cofactor and acts as a disulfide-linked homodimer. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
Species: Human
Immunogen: Recombinant Protein. Immunogen: Recombinant protein of human DPEP1
Calculated Molecular Weight: 45kDa. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing DPEP1 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as DPEP1 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. Breast Neoplasms, Cell Transformation, Neoplastic, Heart Diseases, Kidney Diseases, Ovarian Diseases are some of the diseases may be linked to DPEP1 Polyclonal Antibody. Intestine, Kidney, Lymph Node, Pancreas tissues are correlated with this protein. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
