The CRMP2 dpysl2 (Catalog #MBS540209) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CRMP2 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. MyBioSource\'s CRMP2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB).Dot Blot: 1:10,000
ELISA: 1:10,000
Western Blot: 1:500. Detects a band of approximately 64 kDa in PC-CRMP2 samples. In Jurkat cells, the antibody labels a smaller band (MW 54-56 kDa), the identity of this protein is not known, but may represent a splice variant or proteolysis product of CRMP2 protein. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CRMP2 dpysl2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
The CRMP2 dpysl2 product has the following accession number(s) (GI #308818195) (NCBI Accession #NP_001184222.1) (Uniprot Accession #Q16555). Researchers may be interested in using Bioinformatics databases such as those available at The National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) website for more information about accession numbers and the proteins they represent. Even researchers unfamiliar with bioinformatics databases will find the NCBI databases to be quite user friendly and useful.

Please refer to the product datasheet for known applications of a given antibody. We\'ve tested the CRMP2 Antibody with the following immunoassay(s):
Western Blot (WB)
Affinity Purified Collapsin response mediated protein 2 Antibody
Involved in neuronal development and polarity, axon growth and guidance, neuronal growth cone collapse, and cell migration. Is needed for signalling by class 3 semaphorins and later remodeling of the cytoskeleton.
Immunogen: Synthetic peptide taken from within the region corresponding to AA 60-115 of the CRMP2 protein. The 26mer peptide was conserved in several other species. The selected peptide was post-synthetically modified to achieve highest antigenicity before coupling to carrier protein using hetero-bifunctional cross linker for immunogen preparation.
Storage Buffer: pH: 7.4. Preservative: 0.02% Sodium azide. Constituents: Tris glycine, Tris HCl, 30% Glycerol, 0.5% BSA, HEPES
Expression: Ubiquitous. Molecular Function: Dihydropyrimidinase activity; developmental protein
Structure: Homotetramer and heterotetramer with CRMP1, DPYSL3, DPYSL4 or DPYSL5. Intteracts via its C-terminus with the C-terminus of CYF1P1/SRA1. Also interacts with HTR4, CLN6 and MICALL1.
Subcellular Location: Cytoplasm; Cytoskeleton; Membrane. In general, we may offer more than one antibody to a given target to enable options for the researcher. Available antibodies recognizing CRMP2 are readily searchable from our website. Different antibodies against the same target such as CRMP2 may be optimized or tested for different applications and species. This enables researchers to select the option that may be best for their model system, to screen more than antibody to determine which one may be best for their model system, as well as to use more than one antibody to follow up on and validate their results. The following patways have been known to be associated with this gene.
